There are a variety of ways you can help get me get re-elected as Fire Commissioner! And I list some of them below, and if you have any other questions or suggestions, please email me. I am truly humbled by all of your generous support and words of encouragement.

Come and Vote for "Richard Spackmann"!

Come and vote for the incumbent candidate Richard Spackmann on December 8th from 6 pm to 9 pm. You can vote at any of the four GFD firehouses: Greenfield Center, Porter Corners, Middle Grove and Maple Avenue.

For convenience I have provided links in google maps to get directions to each firehouse:

Display a Campaign Sign

You can proudly display support for my campaign by displaying a campaign sign in your yard. Simply email me, and we can make arrangements for you to acquire a sign.

The signs are free of charge - but you can make a donation to help offset the cost.

Spread the Word

There are far too many people who don't know about the election - but you can change that!

You can hand out fliers in your neighborhood, you can talk to your family, talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors - encouraging them to go to this website and find out more about me and to vote on December 8th!

I am available to meet with groups of associations if requested, and fliers can be obtained by emailing me.

I have had a myspace page for a while now, I do not frequent it as often as my facebook page - but it is there as a method to coordinate between collegues. You can join my myspace page here:

I prefer facebook to myspace at this point, so I do suspect that my myspace page will be going away shortly after the campaign.

Monetary Contributions

Many people have contacted me and offered monetary support for my campaign - and it is truly appreciated, some have donated already! What is this money used for (in no particular order)?

  1. purchase of campaign signs
  2. creation of campaign fliers
  3. website cost and hosting fees
  4. miscellaneous expenses

You can email me directly to discuss donation options. What ever monies are left after all expenses are accounted for will be divided equally and donated directly to each of the fire companies of the Greenfield Fire District.

Please know that this is probably the least prefered method for you to show your support for my candidacy - I would much rather you display a campaign sign instead - or help spread the word as described above.
